Artist Yuka Numata is collecting plastic bottle caps for her artwork to be exhibited at the Setouchi Triennale. Any color is welcome. We need a large quantity!

Artist Yuka Numata
Born in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, 1992.
Completed the Master’s Program in Oil Painting at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2022.
I create works using materials such as iron-on beads. For this Setouchi Triennale, I will process plastic bottle caps as material to express a fishing flag using pixels.
Exhibition Location: Sanshu Izutsu Residence Courtyard (Hiketa, Higashikagawa City)
Exhibition Content: Creating giant fish flags using discarded plastic.
How to Collect PET Bottle Caps: Please place them in the collection box.
Collection Site: Former Ranri Industries (2397 Hiketa, Higashikagawa City, Kagawa Prefecture)
Collection Period: Until June 30
*Collected caps will be used in artist Yuka Numata’s work.
