Additional Applications Now Open for the “Bamboo Lanterns” Project to Light Up the Nights in the Hiketa Area of the Setouchi Triennale 2025!
This activity involves placing bamboo lanterns along the art appreciation route to serve as guides while creating an atmospheric nighttime ambiance.
【Special Mission】…
At the final areas of each route—Miki Clinic to Kasaya Residence and Nouvelle Post to Ranri Industries—feel free to place any remaining bamboo lanterns wherever you like and light them up! ♪ Simply arrange them within the designated area according to your own creativity and vision to complete your installation✨
We warmly welcome friends, families, and colleagues to join us! Light the bamboo lanterns to create a fantastical nightscape and enjoy moments connecting art and people❗
1 Activity Date and Time
【Dates】

・Saturday, August 23

【Time】
5:00 PM to 9:00 PM (Subject to cancellation due to rain or other conditions)
２ Maximum number of participants
Each session: Groups of up to 4 people
※We are accepting one group per session on the dates listed above!
３ Activities
Meeting Place: Tsubasa Exchange Center
① 5:00 PM〜
After the morning briefing (activity explanation), conduct a preliminary walkthrough of the artwork viewing route. (Individual)
② 6:15 PM〜
Set up bamboo lanterns at designated locations and the Special Mission Area.
Place lamps inside the bamboo lanterns and light them.
● While the number and placement of lanterns are predetermined, you are free to decide the design of the lanterns and the colors used for lighting ☺️
③ 8:40 PM ~
While monitoring visitor flow, collect the lanterns to finish by 9:00 PM. Gather at Tsubasa Exchange Center and disband.
