To coincide with the opening of the Setouchi Triennale 2025, a pop-up burger shop [EAST BURGER CLUB] will be open for one month only, using ingredients unique to Higashikagawa – a region rich in nature surrounded by sea and mountains❗
Using local ingredients and seasonings such as “game meat” (deer) from Gona and “Hiketa Yellowtail” delivered directly from the Hiketa Fisheries Cooperative, this is a superb burger packed with the deliciousness of Higashikagawa! 😄
There will also be lots of fun events happening in the surrounding area during the pop-up❗
・Sanbonmatsu High School’s “Sanko Minna no Shokudo” (Dining for Everyone) is coming to Hiketa❗

The “Sanko Minna no Shokudo Project” was launched in 2020 at Kagawa Prefectural Sanbonmatsu High School. Cooked and run by a local agricultural co-op, the cafeteria utilizes local ingredients and an abundance of non-standard vegetables – working to promote local food systems and reduce food waste. The students themselves are involved in menu development, public relations, farm work, and more. For two days only, “Sanko Minna no Shokudo” will be selling original menu items lovingly created by the students. Please come and try some! ✨

Special sale at Tsubasa Community Center
The “Hiketa Komachi Yatai Village” will feature food trucks and takeout vendors, as well as direct-from-farm sales. A limited number of “Okaasan no Onigiri” (Mother’s Rice Balls) from the Higashikagawa City Women’s Organization Liaison Council will also be available, so don’t miss out! 🍙✨
