Crochet Workshop ④ (Completed Video Included❗)
On the afternoon of June 12th, I peeked into the volunteer venue wondering how much progress had been made…

It was already finished!! The real thing is even more impressive and breathtaking than the photo!❗
I heard they accidentally attached the thumb attachment to the wrong side and had to fix it. But even up close, you can’t tell where it was corrected at all. Knowing this is the culmination of everyone’s hard work makes me so happy to have been involved in the project, even just a little bit.✨

As I mentioned a little while ago, when people think of crocheting, most imagine using yarn. But this time, I used thread made from scraps of fabric. It was tricky to handle and quite a struggle to crochet. Given that, I’m amazed at how beautifully it turned out! 😭

This is the used clothing collection box we placed at the Hikida Government Building. Citizens generously donated many items of clothing—even unused yukata! Even those who didn’t directly create artworks are part of the Seto Art Project community through their donations❗ Thank you so much😊

This glove will now be sculpted into a three-dimensional form and displayed as an artwork. I hope to share the process leading up to the exhibition, so please stay tuned until the very end🎵
