Setouchi Triennale Promotion Office moves to Hiketa Office Building!!

With just two months remaining until the opening of the Summer Session of the Setouchi Triennale 2025 in early June, the Promotion Office has moved to the 4th floor of the Hiketa Building!! ✨

Hello again, I’m Mitani from the Setouchi Triennale Promotion Office, in charge of the blog.

You might have heard of the Setouchi Triennale, but…
What exactly happens there?
What kind of exhibitions are there?
Are the same works displayed every time?
…I imagine some of you are interested but unsure what the event is actually like.

ctually, even though I’m in the position of being the one sharing this information, I was one of those people too.💦
On this blog, I aim to post articles that are easy to understand and interesting even for those new to the Setouchi Triennale. We’re steadily making preparations for the summer session opening! I’m basically always here at the Promotion Office, so please feel free to drop by anytime if you have any questions.

This is the office.↓

Everyone who visits says the same thing: “Wow, the view here is truly amazing!”
June marked the start of the rainy season, and while many days brought cloudy skies, on clear days the view is spectacular—you can see the entire historic townscape of Hiketa at a glance.✨

Working while gazing at the bright blue sky and sea is quite a luxury🌊!!
Moving closer to the exhibition venue has brought us nearer to the local community and made it easier for our voices to be heard.
We will continue working hard on preparations to make the best of our first participation in the Setouchi Triennale 2025, in the Hiketa area of Higashikagawa City!
