Official tour featuring hospitality by the Higashikagawa City Women’s Association
On August 2nd, during the “Setouchi Triennale 2025 Official Tour,” the Higashikagawa City Women’s Association(HCWA) hosted a luncheon for participating guests in the Hiketa area of Higashikagawa City. ✨

The official tour featured a special experience: exploring the historic charm of Shido and Hikita districts, admiring unique artworks, and attending an official Seto Triennale event. Based on Higashikagawa City’s history as Japan’s top glove-producing region, actress Kaho Minami read aloud from a picture book written by Setouchi Triennale Hiketa artist Marina Moskvina.

Amidst the relentless heatwave, I hope you were able to take a moment to relax during a delicious lunch break, recharge your energy, and tackle the afternoon events with renewed vigor. ☺

All participants enjoyed lunch time chatting and laughing together!🍚
the Higashikagawa City Women’s Associationis also running a stall at the Hiketa Komachi Yatai Village, offering “Mom’s Rice Balls” plates, eel rice bowls, shaved ice, and more!❕
