Setouchi Triennale Outreach Lecture – A Great Success!

So far, we’ve received requests from various areas to give Setouchi Triennale outreach lectures. ✨
In Higashikagawa City, we’ve held a general meeting for the Lifestyle Research Group, given two lectures in the Kako district, and are planning to hold one in the Yokouchi district in the future❗ We’ve received many requests, especially from groups a little further away, and have even received requests from accommodation facilities in Naruto City. We’re very pleased to see so many people taking an interest in Setouchi Triennale! 😊

The Kiraku Club in the Kako district proposed to collect used clothing for the creation of works by Russian artist Leonid Tishkov, who will be featured at the Higashikagawa Glove Gallery at the Setouchi Triennale. We are grateful to everyone for generously bringing us lots of used clothing! ✨

On June 28th, I was invited to speak at the Takamatsu branch general meeting of the Daichu Sankokai, the alumni association of Sanbonmatsu High School – the only high school in the city – in front of an audience of about 50 people❗

We mainly reported on the preparation of the Hiketa area for the Setouchi Triennale 2025, as well as requests for volunteer staff. Without this opportunity, some people expressed concerns that they hadn’t received enough information about the outline and progress of the works, or the schedule for the production and workshops. 😣

Firstly, we hope that you will take this opportunity to visit and get interested. We will also share what is happening in the local area, which will make you think, “Let’s go and see! I want to go and see!” ✨

Those who attended listened attentively and shared powerful words such as, “We want our organization to be a bridge between the school and the community.” 😊

Sanbonmatsu High School will be involved in food, volunteering, and hosting the opening ceremony❗
